Michael Roop is an experienced safety and security consultant and a retired Captain with the Louisiana State Police.

    Mr. Roop has an extensive background as a trainer, consultant, contract negotiator, and investigator.  He has worked with host employers and contractors at industrial facilities in all 50 states as well as Canada, Mexico, Brazil, China, Singapore, Australia, and the Caribbean.  

    Mr. Roop’s experience also includes developing corporate and facility/project level policies, programs and procedures, compliance and systems auditing, root cause analysis, developing and presenting health and safety training, conducting audits of facilities, and conducting incident investigations.  Further, Mr. Roop has served as an OSHA expert relative to duties and responsibilities of both the host employer and contractors at multi-employer work sites. 

    Mr. Roop has done work for a variety of industries and work locations including construction/ remediation sites, chemical, upstream and downstream oil and gas facilities, and engineering firms. 

    Leslie S. Roop has 20+ years of experience in the practice and management of health, safety, and industrial hygiene services. 

    Ms. Roop's extensive experience includes development and implementation of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems as a policies and procedures writer, team member, team leader, group facilitator and presenter, trainer, and client representative at critical implementation junctures.  Ms. Roop has done work for a variety of work locations including construction/ remediation sites, laboratories, chemical, upstream and downstream oil and gas facilities, and engineering firms. 

    Ms. Roop's has additional experience in such areas as industrial hygiene sampling/monitoring (including noise surveys), indoor air quality assessments of commercial buildings, risk assessments, hazard communication and awareness training instructor.  Ms. Roop's regulatory knowledge has been significantly augmented by her work experience which includes formal and informal field and procedures auditing.
